St Mary's Walkern Christmas Tree Festival is a firm fixture in the Christmas calendar for those in Walkern and the surrounding area. Despite the restrictions relating to the Covid-19 pandemic, you are invited to ensure the continued success of this wonderful seasonal event by voting for a Christmas Tree displayed in windows or gardens in Walkern.

The public is warmly invited to view and judge the trees by walking around the village and seeing what the creative people of Walkern are doing to keep Christmas alive this year. To vote for your favourite tree, print off a voting slip from the link above, fill it in, and drop it into the voting box at St. Mary's Church. Alternatively votes can be sent in by email to (please use the subject of "Christmas Tree Vote") and either attach a photograph of the voting slip or simply type the number of the tree.

A map showing the location of all the trees can also be found from the link above. All trees can be viewed online by clicking here and can be displayed in either map mode or tree view mode.

Voting will close on Saturday 5th December at 6pm.

A special prize giving ceremony for the winner will be held on Sunday 6th December at 11.45am after the Christingle service at St Mary's Christmas Fundraising Fair.
