2004 was a special year for St. Mary's choir in which a number of members saw
'anniversaries' of their time at St Mary's. At St Mary's we are very fortunate to have such a committed group of
choristers and last year Yvonne Hickman completed 40 years as a choir member, Eleanor Waldock and Paul Collis
completed 30 years and Pam Sayers Jan Philips and Jo Banks, 20 years. It is also 20 years since I agreed to
stand in as Organist and Choir Director until a 'proper organist' could be found!
We are delighted to have some new choir members who joined just before Christmas - Beth, Gemma and William -
and it was lovely to have them in the Carol Service.
