St Mary's Church Tower
The work on the tower at St Mary's is finished and the tower is looking very splendid, but must be allowed to settle completely before any bell-ringing starts. It is a very important and major piece of repair work which has needed to be done, but of course it has placed a great demand on our funds. The work will probably cost over £60,000 and we are very grateful to Ron Hollings, our buildings churchwarden, for overseeing the work and also for researching many grants and sources of funding.
