Churches Together in Benington and Walkern

St. Peter's Benington with St. Mary's Walkern

Dates For Your Diary

St Mary's Church Tower

The work on the tower at St Mary's is finished and the tower is looking very splendid, but must be allowed to settle completely before any bell-ringing starts. It is a very important and major piece of repair work which has needed to be done, but of course it has placed a great demand on our funds. The work will probably cost over 60,000 and we are very grateful to Ron Hollings, our buildings churchwarden, for overseeing the work and also for researching many grants and sources of funding.
