Operation Christmas Child 2018

Many thanks to everyone who has supported this yearís Shoebox appeal so generously and to Walkern School who again agreed to be a drop-off point. This year 29 boxes have been donated by friends from the village and beyond.

Remembrance Weekend

Thank you all who contributed to the weekend's activities for Remembrance. Particular thanks to Pam Sayers for her hard work and inspiration over the past few months in organising Cascade of Poppies which was so spectacular and drew many people to the church.

St Maryís Harvest Thanks

Note of thanks to Revd Canon Mike Leverton for the Prayer and Spirituality study sessions, from all who were able to take part. It was encouraging and enlightening - hopefully we can plan more study sessions for the future.

St Maryís Harvest Thanks

Thank you for the Harvest donations of food and toiletries for the Food Shed. The helpers were very grateful and said their clients would really benefit from them. Also, £100 was donated to the Farming Community Network.

Trio Trek for the Tower/Bike 'n' Hike

In the noble cause of fundraising, an intrepid Trio embarked on a Trek for the Tower at the end of August: Beverley Harlow, Alan and Rachel Bennett (supported by John Harlow) walked the 100Km St. Cuthbertís Pilgrimage Way and would welcome sponsorship in aid of St Maryís tower restoration.
